Cobblers
High Street, Llanidloes, Powys, SY18 6BY. Telphone: 07973 782646
The Cobblers Tea Rooms is a small and cosy establishment located in the area known colloquially as the 'Top of Town'. It is situated in one of a terrace of cottages built in the 1830s and is one of only a few remaining examples of a regional type of house, having a central chimney behind a central main entrance and the principal rooms arranged on either side of the chimney breast. Once believed to have been a public house called 'The Comrades Arms' the building has since been divided into two, with the Cobblers having at various times seen use as a grocers and confectioners, a furniture emporium and a shoe shop and cobblers.

Great Oak Cafe

In the evenings the Café becomes the venue for world class jazz performances, DJ's By The Yard and many many other music and cultural events. We also hire out the Café to local groups for meetings and the like for a nominal charge.

British and European influences are perhaps the strongest.
